Soon No One Will Vote
In 2011, the number of alumni voting in the sham(e) election reached 15.5% of the alumni with whom the College is in contact (at least 10% of all alumni have washed their hands entirely of the Hanover follies):
This year the number of alumni voting dropped to an official 10%:
I wonder if alumni will be similarly enthusiastic about the state of the College during the upcoming capital campaign.
Addendum: Vice President for Alumni Relations Martha J Beattie ‘76 updates the figures regarding alumni:
The College has 76,000 total living alumni. We have a mailing or email address for 71,266 of those alumni. Of course, alumni who have not updated their contact information can still vote and need only request a ballot.
