Paris Journal: Abercrombie Rides High
Is this a line for a Parisian museum, or perhaps an elegant palace of long ago? No. In the land of Yves St. Laurent and Givenchy, Abercrombie & Fitch has landed with style. The chain’s store at the base of the Champs Elysées has a permanent queue. You can measure its popularity with a certain set by the remark of one of the young attendants: “The line is not bad today. It will only be an hour and a half.”
