Dartmoose Becomes Official Unofficial Mascot — Keggy Weeps

Dartmoose.jpgWhile the Student Assembly has endorsed both Keggy the Keg and the un-punny, lame Dartmoose as the College’s symbol, it seems that the administration is throwing its light weight behind the Dartmoose. Not that we care overly; the College’s huge financial losses and feckless, wasteful leadership preoccupy us more. But still, to try and slide a risible symbol like a moose into place without broad student and alumni support is hardly the way to do things. Take a look at the program from the 2013 Sophomore Family weekend.

Addendum: Sometimes recycling can go too far. A nameless bureaucrat took as her start a document referring to the Class of 2014 Freshman Family Weekend and only partially modified it to refer to the Class of 2013 Sophomore Family Weekend. Dearest Dean: Please remember that 2014 is not 2013. Global Search and Replace is a good function in Word. Use it. And what in the heck is a Sohomore?

Sloppy, sloppy.

Addendum: The draft schedule has now been corrected. It is good to see that administrators have time to read Dartblog.
