34 to 14 But They Fight
Bruce Wood has a well written piece on the Dartmouth Athletics website that illustrates the affection and respect that he has for the team. Bruce observes that at the end of this season there were only 14 players left on the squad from the Class of 2010, which had started with 34 recruits.
I think that this latter number is an indication of the the poor state of the football program that Buddy Teevens inherited. Admissions allows a recruiting class this large only when team drop-outs are a serious problem.
