Excellence in Admissions
When the administration puts on a display of excellence, it is worth noting, and today there was one: Director of Admissions Recruitment and Communications Dan Parish ‘89 gave a 90-minute presentation to alumni about the college application process that made me want to apply all over again. He said little about the College itself — his focus really was on the process — but his intelligence, wit, mastery of detail, and quickness on his feet were a pleasure to behold. Good on Dan.
For less-than-charitable souls who think that this post is just me bucking for a slot for my kids, they are 12 and 10-years-old respectively, so that was not my motivation. Besides, the remainder of this blog has not endeared your humble servant to most corners of the bureaucracy.
