The Appearance of Impropriety
The mission of the Tucker Foundation is to educate Dartmouth students to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community through service, character development, and spiritual exploration.
Interesting, in the context of a new Tucker Foundation initiative about which I keep getting pestered by e-mail:

Whose money is that? “On behalf of the Dartmouth community”… is it Dartmouth’s? Welcoming a new president is one thing, but funneling money from one not-for-profit to another—on whose board the new president of the first just happens to sit—surely has at least, as I say, the appearance of impropriety.
