An Unusual Ad on Dartblog
I navigated to Dartblog this morning after being emailed by a reader about an interesting advertisement on the site. To the right of our posts and below the little Amazon tab where readers can make donations to Dartblog is a little colorful ad bar where we have usually had ads for John McCain and other conservative causes.
It was interesting to see this morning a banner featuring two portly, middle-aged men embracing each other and a link to MeetGayCouples.com. I am assuming that our ads are automatically done by Google and maybe placement of that ad was inspired by the thoughts I published on Prop 8. Or, perhaps Joe was so moved by my words on the subject that he has decided not only to support the legalization of gay marriage but also to encourage alternative sexual lifestyles in general. Alternatively, Joe might be having a stern word with Google ads later today.
In any event, Dartblog is, as always, proud of the diversity of readers (and now advertisers) that we draw.
