Baseball, College, and Blogs: All Things That Are Good

This article is painful for me to post about on a number of levels. Not only did the featured player, Mark DeRosa, go to U. Penn, but the Cubs are currently playing the Mets in an extremely important four-game series. Not to mention that it is increasingly likely that my New York Mets will face the Cubs in the National League Division Series, the first round of the playoffs.

Nevertheless, a good article about an intersection between the Ivy League and baseball (and a little blogging, thrown in), is definitely worth a post.

JOE adds: Besides, the Mets are too big to fail.
