Confused Now? Try More Bureaucracy
The New York Times reports that “E.R. Patients Often Left Confused After Visits.” The gist of the problem is that they are not given, or do not understand, adequate information on what steps they should take pertaining to their malady once discharged. With an eye towards the healthcare policies of the respective presidential candidates, I cannot help but think how much worse this problem would be if Washington oversaw medical care across the country. Government may be good at some things, but accountability is certainly not one of them.
