Pro-Lifers Emerge in Russia
Abortion has been a hot topic in the United States for decades, but opponents of abortion are just now raising awareness of the subject in Russia. This public discussion of course coincides with government desperation over negative population growth. Now doctors are speaking out about fetal development, hoping to encourage the population to think more carefully about engaging in this terrible act. Still, many admit to using abortion as a form of birth control as contraceptives prove persistently unpopular. One can only hope that with this further information, Russian women will think more carefully about their sexual choices.

Though there are many other questionable human rights cases in Russia, the beginning of discussion is always a welcome change.
