When Our Enemies Prefer Obama…
During the Democratic primaries and shortly thereafter, one of Barack Obama’s biggest rallying cries was that he was the chosen leader to make friends with the world that has come to loathe us in the past eight years. But suddenly, Obama has been mum on the topic.
A recent poll shows that the entire WORLD is praying that Obama will secure a term in the Oval Office!
Another poll shows that Russians prefer Obama to McCain 27 to 6 per cent.
With all of this evidence demonstrating the world’s sheer adoration of Obama, why has he not resurrected his old talking point?
Perhaps the former community organizer’s advisers have enlightened him to the fact that the American people would balk if they were privy to the fact that their adversaries and rivals preferred Obama to McCain for the American presidency.
ZAK adds: Diane’s points are all well taken, I would just make the slight emendation that many countries that prefer Obama are probably just hoping, they are a little short on prayer.
