Board, Admin, Go for Flashiness
Just coming in from a source: In order to attempt to legitimize the Board-packing plan—by which eight new Trustees will join Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees, upsetting the century-old balance between elected and appointed Trustees, the outgoing Dartmouth administration has entreated an especially high-profile alumnus to sit as one of the brand-new appointed Trustees. More to come.
UPDATE: The five new Trustees are: Jeff Immelt, Sherri Oberg (who ran just a year or so ago, and did not win), John Rich, Steve Roth, and Diana Taylor.
