The Candidates
Since Dartmouth’s voting website tries to make it as difficult as possible to distinguish between the two slates of candidates for the 2008-09 Association of Alumni Executive Committee, the insiders’ one and the pro-parity one, Dartblog provides a clear breakdown here.
Dartblog will be sure to repost this list when voting begins three weeks from today, on April 28.

Second Vice President: Paul Mirengoff ‘71

President: John H. Mathias Jr. ‘69
First Vice President: Cheryl A. Bascomb ‘82
Second Vice President: Douglas H. Keare ‘56
Secretary/Treasurer: David P. Spalding ‘76
Seven other members:

There are no candidates unaffiliated with one or the other of these slates.
The Vox the Vote website is accessible directly from Dartmouth’s homepage, via a link under a blue banner in the center column. You have to scroll down a bit to see it, though.
Note that the candidates are listed in alphabetical order, as I expect they will be during the actual voting period, rather than according to these slates. Thus, please be very sure when you cast your ballot that your vote goes to those for whom you intend it.
