Difficult to say who would make a worse athlete-in-chief, President Bush or Barack Obama. This evening Bush threw a baseball pitch (for opening day at Nationals Park) so high that it would be almost generous to call it a ball. Obama, on the other hand (literally, Bush pitched with his right arm while Obama bowled lefty), threw so many gutterballs while bowling in Pennsylvania that he joked that (even?) his plan for the economy was better than his bowling skills. Perhaps John Kerry could beat either in windsurfing but my money would be on Hillary Clinton to take them both in pretty much any sport.
