« Weekend Reading | Home | How Do the Ivies Stack Up on Alcohol Enforcement? »

I will have a full update to come on this, but for the moment see this document, reflecting a Valentine’s day acquiescence stating that the Dartmouth Board of Trustees, which five months ago moved to pack itself with designates to dilute the influence of popularly elected Trustees, will suspend the implementation of its plan indefinitely. If it should take a notion to continue with its plan, it must notify the Association of Alumni forty-five days in advance so that the Association can request that the judge enjoin the plan. (Which injunction, the thinking on both sides goes, would be granted.)
