Does anyone know anything about an old song, something either in the midwest folk or the black Baptist tradition, called Healing River? (“O, Healing River: send down your waters.”) Cursory research reveals a version by Pete Seeger and sundry amateurs of the laity, but I cannot find audio recordings. It is a very nice song, and I should like to possess a copy. Aidez-moi, would you?
UPDATE: Thanks to Joe Asch for correcting my French. It was represented to me in high school that French and France consisted principally of having light conversation dans le parc with pastel girls; thus were my abilities constrained.
