This Eve’s G.O.P. Debate
The Yankees proved more compelling entertainers than the lot of Republicans this evening, and I confess I skipped the debate. But there is plenty of discussion in our Power Line Forum, where all and sundry have been liveblogging the entire Fredless spectacle.
I trust that, at some point, Brit Hume forced all of the candidates to go on the record on the issue of good governance at Dartmouth College.
UPDATE: There is a lot of unnecessary cynicism over Fred Thompson. Tonight his website became public. The main feature? A reasonable, extended-length video, wherein Fred Thompson simply explains himself. A new kind of campaign? Actually, yes.
