« The Thompson Campaign Is Born | Home | Mr. Neukom, Keep it Democratic »

Last week I linked to an editorial from Anne Neal, president of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, on the vanishing of Shakespeare studies from American colleges and universities. Subsequently, reader and former English professor Daniel Green e-mailed a riposte to ACTA’s report.

Now, on its blog, ACTA responds.

UPDATE: A Daniel Green e-mails to note that the Daniel Green whom we all think wrote the criticism of the Shakespeare Report is not in fact the Daniel Green pegged by ACTA, but some other, unknown, Daniel Green. So, while someone called Daniel Green did start all of this, it is not the Daniel Green you may think it is. That is all.
