« S.A. Reform Update | Home | Average Turnout in Trustee Election »

It has been very pleasing for me to see new Dartmouth blogs sprout up over the last few years. Just a few days ago a trio of ’10s launched DartWire and now I note that the very smart and capable former secretary of the Student Assembly, Dave Nachman, has launched Super Dartmouth. His first order of business? Casting the narrow eye at a silly e-mail from the Office of the Vice-President for Institutional Diversity saying (sarcastically, as it turned out) that all the dissension issues have been solved and that, thank you very much, students need no longer attend the ‘community lunches’ put on by the department. Well, maybe if you stopped having meetings premised on people dividing themselves, they’d start uniting!

Anyway, the hardest thing about doing a blog is sticking with it just long enough that one feels committed. Once that happens, it becomes a labor of love; the words flow more swiftly and an audience naturally grows. Here’s hoping these fresh Dartmouth blogs keep going strong.
