The Boston Pops played last night, but their season opener—perfectly timed, too; there is nothing like violins and warm weather—was interrupted when two men, one shirtless, began going at it in the balcony. (I know what you’re thinking, and no, there are no reports that the delicate wood of the Symphony Hall walls was damaged.) The two men are doing just fine, as are the audience members who were in the area of the fight.

In other news, Boston’s Symphony Hall has announced a change in house policy. In an effort to limit riff raff, the proletariate will no longer be permitted entry without an escort in the fifth tax bracket or above.
