Last week I apologized for having neglected the fragile health of dear old Dartblog. Today I’ve lifted the veil from the project that has stolen my time over the last several weeks: The Power Line Candidates’ Forum. For the first time, a party’s leading presidential contenders have coalesced at one website to engage with the party faithful in an open discussion. It’s awfully neat.

If only for my sake: As you might imagine, managing a project like the Candidates’ Forum is difficult, from both the IT perspective (I don’t code anymore, but directing the coders takes time and thought, too) and from a business and strategy perspective. We needed to get five political candidates tightly vyying for a nomination to agree to a level playing field. In the end, we did, and I think the result will be healthy for this campaign in the particular and the ‘conservative netroots’ cause in general. I hope you enjoy it.
