The Legal News
The Associated Press:
The US Supreme Court ruled Monday that the Environmental Protection Agency must consider greenhouse gases as pollutants, in a blow to the White House. My understanding is that the Court ruled no such thing. It instead ruled that, if the EPA can ground the classification of carbon dioxide as a pollutant that creates some particular level of risk, then it has the power to regulate it. The newsmedia has gone out of its way to proclaim this decision as some kind of victory for the anti-CO2 set, which is awfully silly.
