“In partisan Republican circles,” the editorial board of The New York Times opines (and the Times knows partisan Republican circles intimately), “the pursuit of voter fraud is code for suppressing the votes of minorities and poor people.”

I wonder, in which circles is the pursuit of voter fraud the pursuit of voter fraud? And, in Democratic circles, what shall we call the ardent pursuit of every voting machine manufacturer whose products are used in districts in which Republicans win?
