He’s a sexy paradox, you see.

Witness to your left the way Time magazine, presenting a photograph slideshow, initially elected to describe Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran. He is a “champion of the dispossessed,” particularly dispossessed Islamist militiamen who brook every day the searing tragedy of not having enough ammunition to keep their AK-47s in operating condition. He is a “global Everyman,” striving valiantly to ensure that every man — women are of no consequence in this, Allah’s world — accepts Islam or dies ignominiously. And in elocution he is pleasantly “voluble,” the spring-sweet rhetoric of extermination issuing with smooth righteousness from underneath his en vogue hairstyle.
