In morning editions, Jim Fennell, reporter for The Union Leader, makes note of the odd apology offered by Dartmouth athletics director Josie Harper to Dartmouth’s one hundred Native American and part-Native American students for the team name of another college entirely—the Fighting Sioux of the University of North Dakota, which Dartmouth’s hockey team will be playing in weeks to come.

This humble page has made a similar observation.
