My dear friend Veronica is in Washington this bright fall, and I’d like to embarrass her by pointing out this Reuters photograph of the president delivering remarks on the Global War on Terror to the Reserve Officers Association in Washington, D.C. yesterday. Veronica is standing on the back wall, to the left of the serious man with the seriously folded arms.
