Dartmouth’s library folks have strapped a bag of cement to we students’ vocabularies, and they’re just a-droopin’ on down. Students looking for English insight beyond the meager offerings of Dictionary.com are now left only with the sometimes ponderous Oxford English Dictionary, which is great for resolving debates but not always practical as a writing aide. I hope online access to Webster Unabridged comes back soon.
