In regards to the below post, Mike Maddox writes:

Thank heaven our academic community has the courage to stand up for the American people. Chaos will rule when broadcasters are allowed to air material prior to being approved by politicians. I am so proud of these historians. They are a credit to the First Amendment, the academic community and all those correct thinking people who understand that freedom of speech in the wrong hands can result in faulty assumptions among future voters.

I just hope they have the stamina to withstand attacks from the entrenched right wing of our academic community. They will undoubtedly raise the straw man of censorship.
