The Netroots Continue Connecticut Crusade, General Annoyingness

“The Netroots”—a million or so readers of far-left blogs who have been made to feel empowered by said blogs—caused the right gentlemen from Connecticut, Joe Lieberman, to lose his party’s nomination for re-election to the United States Senate. Joe Lieberman is running anyway as an independent, and he is going to win anyway. The polls have consistently had his lead in the double digits, even during what should have been the honeymoon portion of millionaire liberal Ned Lamont’s campaign.

But the netroots, their dull and witless antennae actually sensing incipient defeat—again—are fighting hard for their man. They are doing this by heckling during the live televised debates, annoying everyone and spreading their Reality-Based Gorilla Dust.
