The Danish and Norwegian Embassies are Burning
Muslims have set fire to both embassies in Syria as part of the continuing cartoon war. This is not going away…
MORE: The Washington Post, like other American media outlets and (thankfully) unlike European outlets, fears commenting on the cartoon controversy. They have obeyed the sign.
Today in the Style section, the Post publishes an article about the situation. It is not worth reading. Just read the headline: “Clash Over Cartoons Is a Caricature Of Civilization.” It would be more honest to say that the “clash over the cartoons” is an exponent of the precise opposite of civilization.
MORE: Over at the French embassy, which has not yet been torched, the message of the Islamists is, “Freedom go to Hell.” And suddenly “they hate our freedom” doesn’t sound so silly.
