The Iraqi Kids Project, Phase One: Success

Dartmouth undergraduate Meredith Wilson reports on The MI Guy blog that her Iraqi Kids Project, which sought to provide needy children in Iraq with clothing, shoes, and other essentials, has been completed. Meredith and her co-collaborator Liz Hunt had the idea to collect donation items as Dartmouth students were packing up their dorm rooms at the end of school. This minimized waste, and yielded, in Meredith’s words, “24 big boxes” of donation items. After receiving an email from Iraq confirming that the items were distributed, she deemed the Iraqi Kids Project a success. Congratulations to those involved on a wonderful job wonderfully done!
