F-16s Strike Near The Syrian Border

After the initial invasion, the role of fighter jets has understandably decreased in Iraq. So it caught my attention when I read that F-16s launched airstrikes on the Syrian/Iraqi border- where significant terrorist importation facilities are located- this morning. Reportedly, a “known terrorist” was killed.
