ABOUT THE AUTHOR

JOE MALCHOW Hail, and well met! Here is a bit about myself. I am from central New Jersey, and am currently studying at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire as a member of the class of 2008. I am focusing on government and economics, though my major is still undeclared.

The usual topics upon which I opine include political ideology, the media, policy, and technology. And Star Trek, sometimes.

And, of course, whatever happens to be in the news.

I belong to the seemingly minute coterie of young conservatives. I voted to re-elect President Bush in 2004 but I am not a strict party loyalist. Please keep my personal bias in mind when reading this blog.

I also am very interested in high-fidelity audio, recording, radio, and classical music. My favorite composers are Mozart, Haydn, Copland, Vivaldi, and Gottschalk. This is my favorite recording of all time.

I do voiceovers and audio production on a freelance basis.
